Magnolia Park Cemetery Guidelines

It is our goal to maintain a cemetery that is not only beautiful and inviting, but safe for both our guests and our personnel. This objective can only be reached with your cooperation in following the park guidelines. Together we can preserve the beauty and rich heritage of Magnolia Park.

  1. Other than at the actual time of the funeral service, wreaths, easels, baskets, live cut flowers, and potted plants are not permitted.
  2. Funeral flowers, holders, containers, baskets, and easels will be removed between 5 to 7 days after the funeral service, depending on the condition of the flowers.
  3. Artificial flowers in approved containers, placed directly on the marker are permitted at any time.
  4. Planting of live flowers, shrubs, or trees on a burial site is not permitted at any time.
  5. Glass, metal, flower baskets, or breakable plastic containers are not permitted at any time.
  6. Ceramic or porcelain figurines are not permitted at any time.
  7. Impermanent grave coverings are not permitted at any time.
  8. One shepherd’s hook (no taller than 4ft) per marker is permitted.
  9. No more than 2 solar lights are permitted per marker.
  10. Holiday, birthday, and anniversary arrangements are permitted, but need to be removed in a timely manner following the celebration.
  11. All permitted articles must be contained on top of grass markers or the base of upright markers.
  12. Magnolia Park retains the right to remove any article which is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or not within the guidelines of the park.

From time to time and as issues arise we reserve the right to alter, change, and enforce new guidelines as needed to maintain the cemetery in the safest and best possible manner. We thank you for your help in our efforts.
